Census 2020 - Make Black Count!

The self-response phase for the Census 2020 has been extended until August 14th, 2020. Please make sure you get counted before it's too late! Fill out the necessary information here!

Why complete the Census?

According to the 2010 Census, there is only a mere 480,000 African-Americans living in the Bay Area's nine counties, in comparison to the 7.1 million total living in the Bay Area. In 2020, it is more important than ever to fill out this year's Census.

By filling out the 2020 Census, you provide the federal government with vital information about your community. Happening only once a decade, the Census can: impact how much federal funding communities receive; determine congressional representation; influence small and larges businesses on where to expand their operations; provide billions in funding for affordable housing; and impact funding in education, public transit, healthcare, and much more.
