We will be honoring the following Women in our community: 

  • Giovanna Brasfield, PhD - Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion at Flat Iron Construction

  • Chief Bisa French - Chief of Police for Richmond Police Department

  • Shalaya Shipman - Strategic Business Development at Salesforce

  • Renee Chapman Navarro, MD - Vice Chancellor, Chief Diversity Officer at UC San Francisco 

  • Kyla Johnson-Trammell, PhD - Superintendent at Oakland Unified School District

Girl Power by Kids Teach Tech

March 30, from 4pm - 6pm PST

ESPN Executive Producer Sandy Nunez will talk about her journey and share stories from behind the scenes and in front of the camera in the Sports Entertainment Industry. Kids Teach Tech’s own Inaaya Hyder and Alexandra Spoto will be your Live Instructors for "Create a Maze Game" - a Coding Class they created to teach Scratch Programming with assistance from the Kids Teach Tech Teaching Team. Please note that this event is for 8-18 year olds.
